This is an exciting time to join the Talent Acquisition coordination team (TACT).We are looking for someone to support the delivery of our induction programme to enable a professional, skilled, and diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve.

As a member of the Induction Team, you will help give new starters the best possible welcome to the Environment Agency. You will use your communication and technical skills to help deliver our Welcome Days for new starters, collaborating with stakeholders from across the organisation. You will be instrumental in developing the visibility of the induction programme across the Environment Agency, improving our products and keeping them up to date. You will be a key part of our strategy as we strive to make the Environment Agency the most inclusive employer in the UK.
You will contribute to new ways of working using your research and organisation skills. To do this, you’ll build relationships with stakeholders, including some of our most senior colleagues. You will be visible and accountable for the successful delivery of the induction programme, influencing key stakeholders along the way.

You will be passionate about the work of the Environment Agency, possessing the ability to think differently to overcome problems, and identify better ways of working.
The Talent Acquisition coordination team delivers end to end resourcing on behalf of the organisation we are an inclusive, diverse, and passionate new team within the People and Change department within the Chief Operating Officer's Directorate. We work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that priorities are informed by evidence and insight; people can be their best selves at work; and frontline delivery is efficient, equitable and sustainable.
You will need good knowledge and experience of people matters and programme delivery. You should have experience of developing and supporting new ways of working and building relationships quickly and effectively. Through your experience to date you will be able to demonstrate:

• Knowledge/experience of supporting projects and/or programmes
• Good communication and inter-personal skills to build strong relationships with busy colleagues, help them to see the benefits of working with you.
• The ability to find proportionate solutions to problems and articulate the solution in a simple, persuasive way.
• The ability to collate and process accurate information
• Good planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver to tight timescales.
• You enjoy working autonomously and know when to escalate risks/issues.
• Confidence using O365 tools particularly SharePoint, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint and enthusiasm for making effective use of existing and future corporate tools.
