We are initially advertising a one-year assignment to contribute to the work of the team, with the potential make permanent as need be. This will primarily involve leading on re-configuring AIMS OM to enable EA Estates asset data to be stored and managed within AIMS OM.

This will involve working closely with the EA Estateman Replacement Project (ERP) team to ensure agreed business requirements are delivered and are consistent and complementary with existing AIMS OM configuration.

It is also expected the successful candidate will contribute to wider work of the team and support delivery of other continuous improvement and change in AIMS OM.
We are the Asset Management Business Systems team, part of the National Asset Management Systems team. The team is responsible for the Asset Management IT System, AIMS Operations & Maintenance (AIMS OM).

We provide system administration and user support to all users of AIMS OM. Working with suppliers, DDTS, EA business leads and users to ensure business improvements are realised that enable Asset Management to deliver effective and efficient asset management outcomes.
We are looking for a person with significant proven experience of configuring the AIMS OM application.

Extensive knowledge of the AMX Platform and how it has been configured for AIMS OM is essential. This will include thorough knowledge of how different parts of the application have been configured and work together.

A working knowledge of EA asset management business processes is desirable.

We are looking for a person with good communication skills and committed to providing good customer service.

Successful candidate must be a proven leader, able to engage both in writing and verbally with colleagues across the organisation, taking the lead in meetings and working with user groups to deliver the outcomes of the team through others.

You should be motivated, well organised and able to manage your work effectively, working flexibly as part of a nationally dispersed team.

This role is part of a nationally dispersed team hence base location is flexible. The successful candidate will be required to undertake infrequent travel for meetings.
