The objective of the assignment is to help drive the implementation of assurance and governance across the Air Quality portfolio. This will support our alignment of asset management systems (AMS) across different portfolios and will provide Air Quality Management with an AMS development in line with our corporate asset management ambition. The initial aim is to capture existing knowledge and processes in a format that provides clear ways of working and enhances our assurance and confidence in the risk management of our existing multiple contract AM delivery. You will work with National Operations leads and the Asset Systems manager to deliver key document products to high quality.
The National Operations Asset Management Team fulfils a leadership role with operational teams involved in Asset Management. Working closely with FCRM and Environment and Business Directorates the team translates strategy into ways of working which will enable us to meet our ambition to modernise how we deliver asset management. We have a technical assurance role across Civil Engineering, MEICA and Asset Management and led the strategic medium term goal gaining ISO55001 certification in FCRM.
• Project delivery to challenging time scales
• Project planning and milestone reporting
• Supporting collaborative development of processes within a management system across EA functions and third-party contractors.
• Ability to develop, review and coordinate complex technical documents to deliver customer needs & outcomes
• Working with contract managers
• Knowledge of ISO standards requirements in general (ISO55001 beneficial)
• Efficient and effective communications
