If so this role is a great opportunity to work in the very centre of FCERM helping to ensure our nation is more resilient in the face of an increasing risk as our climate changes.

As the team lead on Stakeholder Engagement you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our strategic stakeholder engagement plan. This will include the continuous updating of stakeholder information and contacts, as well as feedback and analysis of engagement as it takes place. You will also take a lead on identifying external event opportunities, developing a plan for these and coordinating our input.

You will help identify and evaluate new relationships and opportunities for engagement, and will advise Directors on their strategic engagement priorities.
This role is part of the FCRM Stakeholder Management team. The whole team collectively support colleagues across the Directorate in their work with internal and external stakeholders, helping to develop and maintain relationships and make sure information is gathered and shared in a timely and effective way.
You will use your strong engagement and communication skills to influence and negotiate with senior leaders to ensure they engage well. You’ll be skilled at using evidence to propose solutions to any challenges and to evaluate the success of your approach on achieving business outcomes.

This post reports to the FCRM Stakeholder Manager. A variety of working patterns can be accommodated.
As a national role, location is flexible.

Travel to meetings in London, Birmingham, Bristol and other locations is required.

The Environment Agency is a Category 1 responder. Your role will contribute to the Environment Agency’s response to major incidents such as flooding.

Assessments for this role will take place in London on 2 and 3 September. We’re also recruiting a G6 International Strategy Senior Advisor role on a fixed term contract. Please apply for both if interested, but you will only be assessed once.
