You will be a Resilience Manager within the Resilience and Partnerships Team, part of Preparedness and Recovery. You will lead and deliver a number of incident management and engagement portfolios. Your main focus for the assignment will be the development of the Environment Agency recovery capability. You will provide excellent leadership on this key piece of work delivering an effective and sustainable recovery capability. To achieve this outcome you will be an highly effective and confident leader capable of influencing and delivering at pace, with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will shape, develop and provide expert advice and knowledge on complex and strategic issues to inform and deliver incident management outcomes. You will lead and influence incident management priorities both internally and externally to secure positive outcomes for people and the environment.
You will be one of four managers in the Resilience and Partnerships Team, in Incident Management and Resilience. The Resilience and Partnerships Team delivers IM Engagement, IM planning and the IM Business Partner service.
You will have a good understanding of multi-agency incident management. Confident and articulate with a variety of audiences, you will have a proven ability in working with others and a clear customer and business focus. Very strong verbal and written communication skills are required and you will be able to demonstrate how you have influenced successful outcomes. You must be able to design and deliver a varied prioritised workload, and be an effective member of the Resilience and Partnerships Management Team.

Provide evidence that shows how you will inspire, motivate and work with others to achieve their personal goals and the goals of the Environment Agency.
Influences and Persuades Others
This role will be delivering new ways of working and a new IM capability. Describe how you can do this by presenting a case in a convincing and attractive way that will win people over, encouraging them to follow plans willingly.
