Administration / Corporate Support
£22,792 (pro-rata)
You will provide day to day administration support to the Deputy Directors with the Chief Executives Directorate (CED). This will include administrative tasks, active diary management and liaising with a wide range of people both inside and outside the Environment Agency. There will also be an element of team admin support for the Exec Support and Correspondence team consisting of similar tasks.
This can be a busy role which will include providing cover for other PA’s across CED. In return you will gain significant insight into the way the Environment Agency’s Exec team work and run the business, and will join a friendly team of busy people whose work includes correspondence, sensitive requests for information and oversight of the incident side of CED.
The role is within Governance and Engagement, a busy group focussed on supporting the senior leaders of the Environment Agency.
This role is in the Executive Support and Correspondence team – who are split between London and Bristol offices and provide day-to-day and incident support to the Chief Executive and executive team. This role will join an existing PA who works 3 days per week.
Your excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills will be crucial to the role. You will be able to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. You will need to show initiative and meet demanding deadlines while remaining tactful and diplomatic.
A functional use of Microsoft Office Programs such as Outlook, Word and PowerPoint is a must.
We are happy to explore part time and flexible working.
