Working in East Anglia will give you an opportunity to make a difference.

You'll be a highly visible leader, able to organise, inspire and motivate people to achieve great outcomes. You'll know how to make our corporate ambitions and local priorities resonate with others, so plans are converted into delivery and key stakeholders know the value of our work. You'll bring a passion to the role and in return be supported by great people in the Area.

We have 5 Environment Managers across our Area and your part in this team will be absolutely critical to the success of our work in East Anglia.

You will lead and support a number of teams who are responsible for Environment Management. Your current portfolio of teams is Waste, Installations, Land & Water, Groundwater and Contaminated Land, and Enforcement. You will also form an essential part of our Area Leadership Team, providing forward thinking and strategic direction to the East Anglia Area. Your leadership will also enhance the Areas incident response capability by holding a senior incident management role.
We are looking for applicants who believe that providing great leadership is fundamental to our ability to protect people and the environment. You will be able to draw on your extensive experiences as a leader to describe how you have helped make a real difference.

As a member of the Area Leadership Team you will be committed to developing yourself and those around you, providing a positive role model who can create an open, inclusive, and trusting culture.
You must be passionate about developing other people, be innovative in your thinking and have experience managing health, safety and wellbeing.
