We are seeking to appoint an Asset Management Assistant to support the delivery of our Water, Land and Biodiversity asset work across Greater Manchester Merseyside and Cheshire. Your role will involve the cataloguing, inspection, and assessment of public safety across a wide range of different assets, ensuring that that our data and information is recorded accurately.

You will be expected to manage your own workload and work flexibly according to the demands of the role, with support from colleagues.
Working in the Greater Manchester Merseyside and Cheshire area you will work closely with the Water Land and Biodiversity (WLB) Asset Management Team Leader and Asset Management Technical Lead. You will also work collaboratively with your asset management peer group and other area teams.

• Organisational skills and an ability to use systems and applications
• Have an eye for detail, be efficient and able to persevere with tasks.

You will be required to work alone so a good knowledge of health & safety is essential. You should be happy to work outside, in demanding weather conditions, all year round. Experience in asset management and maintenance/project work is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

You must be able to swim and hold a current UK driving licence.
