One of our really exciting areas of work is understanding the wildlife and cleanliness of our rivers and beaches; our teams use the most modern tools and techniques to investigate problems and make this information available. We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to become a Team Leader of a small for team covering Analysis and Reporting in Devon. This is a fixed term contract until the end of October but is likely to be extended until March 2023.

There are 6 people in the Analysis and Reporting Team based across Devon; this reflects where people choose to live and we do our best to accommodate this way of working. We have a mixture of Technical Specialists and Officers in the Team who provide a phenomenal service to our business providing environmental information on which major decisions are made.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone to begin their journey on leading people. It is more important you have that desire and aptitude rather than an in depth knowledge of environmental science. You will be offered every support and training in leadership but at the same time have the freedom to find your own style. We are a kind team and spend time ensuring everyone develops for the good of themselves and nature. We would like to hear about how you have been involved in leadership outside of work including your involvement with clubs and volunteering.
