Are you committed to helping the EA deliver more for climate and nature and interested in innovative funding & green finance? We are a new team focused on bringing people and funding together in place and creating better approaches to the growing challenges we face. We need someone to join our team with excellent project management skills to help us develop a cohesive work programme that will allow us to deliver our ambition.

Key responsibilities are:
Maintain an overview of the IFF work programme and how it delivers against the EA’s Funding and Investment Plan
Work with the teams to develop the IFF work programme including forward planning and development of the pipeline
Provide support on FIP reporting and monitoring
Support the teams to ensure outputs are embedded in the business and that any risks are identified and raised in the right governance forums
Line manage the G3 programme support role to ensure IFF teams are supported across the range of programme oversight, reporting and delivery, finance, procurement, and recruitment
Work with the DD to oversee the team budget, forward planning and reporting
Manage/oversee procurement processes with support from the G3
Oversee briefings coordination, meetings forward looks & inquiries.
The post sits within the Innovative Funding & Finance (IFF) Team, which is part of the Future Funding Department in E&B. The Future Funding team works across the whole organisation, E&B, FRCM and Ops. IFF aims to grow our climate and nature resilience and adaptation through increased investment in environmental outcomes. The role will report to the Catchment Funding Manager.
We’re looking for someone with a good track record of managing projects and an excellent understanding of the business. You’ll be good at working at pace where design and processes are evolving rapidly and there are tight timescales. You’ll be flexible, well organised and able to support the work of other teams within the Future Funding team when needed.

We are looking for someone who can influence and persuade others and build and sustain effective relationships with colleagues.
