These are exciting opportunities for anyone who would like to work as part of a national team.

1 x Contracts, Planning and Performance
You will work with colleagues across the organisation identifying business needs, lead and support work streams which include tender processes and award of contracts in relating to the delivery of the DGFS Fleet Strategy.

You will assist the team to manage and monitor performance of fleet contracts enabling us to ensure we reduce our environmental footprint, maintain a cost-effective fleet & deliver our legal and health & safety responsibilities.

3x Fleet Hub
You will work within a busy team that performs administrative and financial activities for both Environment Agency and Defra fleets, with a high level of customer service to internal and external customers and partners.

The day to day work will vary, focusing on customer service and processes, paying invoices and managing purchase orders to updating our fleet management system or resolving data quality issues.

For these roles you will be expected to work with colleagues across the organisation and external Partners and Suppliers, so the ability to build and maintain a working network of contacts is essential and requires excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
Defra Group Fleet Services provide a collaborative fleet service to all organisations within the Defra group.

Both the Hub and Contracts, Planning and Performance Teams promote a culture of continuous improvement, providing dedicated resource to directly contribute to improving the performance of our fleet. and to support fleet initiatives.
You will have good knowledge and experience of resourcing and workload prioritisation. The ability and experience to build relationships with both internal and external partners is essential.
