Are you looking for a challenging and fast paced role at the centre of flood and coastal change in the Environment Agency?
You will work on a mixture of reactive and proactive work in the team to:
- manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
- provide timely and effective briefings, presentations and papers
- respond to correspondence and enquires in an effective manner
- provide stakeholder management advice to significant projects within the business
- support the development of our own, and inputting to others conferences and events
- help identify new strategic partnerships to support the achievement of our long-term ambitions

This is an opportunity to develop your career at the heart of Flood and Coastal Risk Management within our ‘Business and Stakeholder Management team’.
The team is dispersed but maintains daily contact to ensure team members are supported and high workloads are managed appropriately.

We are looking for someone who is:

Enthusiastic, well-organised, and tenacious to keep work moving at pace and deliver quickly.

Keen on working collaboratively with colleagues and partners in dispersed networks.

Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Understands how to form new relationships and agree objectives.

Has a track record of achieving results and experience of planning, managing, and delivering to tight deadlines. Knowledge of project working, event management and procurement would be useful.

Able to work flexibly and independently, ‘owning’ your role, initiating tasks, and organising a complex workload

Question: In this busy team you will have to work at pace in ambiguity, independently and remote from your customers and the team. You will need to be able to balance competing priorities as well as your own personal resilience. Please describe how you maintain your resilience and develop whilst managing a busy workload.
