The Programme Analyst provides a key business assurance role; monitoring, extracting, analysing and explaining project, programme and performance data. As the owner for data for programme planning, you work collaboratively with a team of project professionals working on a programme of work across Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (DCIS) and Wessex with a combined value of approximately £40m/yr, delivering large and complex schemes to reduce the risk of flooding to thousands of homes and businesses.

You will work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure there is a wide understanding across the business of our performance towards several Key Performance Indicators, maintaining a single version of the truth upon which business decisions can confidently be made whilst ensuring and maintaining quality data.

You will be comfortable handling large datasets and will have experience identifying and disseminating information to influence key stakeholders at all levels. The ability to anticipate requirements, assess your target audience and adapt your approach accordingly is essential.

A proven ability to identify and solve problems promptly and accurately is a must, whilst ever changing priorities require that you are open to challenge and unfazed when asked to react quickly to business needs.
The Business Team, part of Portfolio Assurance, is focussed on providing excellent support to our project management team and the wider business; ultimately helping to create a better place for people and wildlife. The delivery team we support is responsible for the majority of our complex flood defence projects; from multimillion pound programmes to ground-breaking projects. Working as a team is essential to us and we recognise the value each team member contributes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and confident communicator to join the Business Team based in Exeter.

- Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O) and/or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) qualification
- Experience of working in a project management environment
