Our Project Support Officer role will see you join our high performing team working in collaboration on vital bespoke and emerging national projects. Joining this crucial area of the business, you’ll support our Management Team and fellow project professionals on a diverse portfolio of work.
Day-to-day you’ll focus on a mix of the following:
• Providing a comprehensive support service to the Bespoke & Emerging Project Management Team, by coordinating and delivering activities to ensure the team is run effectively and efficiently. This will involve organising and contributing to effective management team meetings, and wider team meetings and activities. This may involve tasks such as arranging/coordinating meetings, preparing PowerPoint slide packs, tracking actions, SharePoint site administration and financial/ staff utilisation tracking and reporting.

• Providing a comprehensive support service to project and programme managers throughout the lifecycle of the projects and programmes to ensure they run efficiently and effectively. You will provide project and data management support, creating, managing and using dashboards and management information.
The Bespoke & Emerging Projects team (BEP) is part of Major Projects and Programme Delivery (MPPD). We provide effective project and programme management capability across the business. Our strong, well-qualified teams manage a wide range of projects throughout their lifecycle to deliver outcomes for climate resilience, wildlife, nature and our communities. • Be interested and have some experience in project support/project management, and have an understanding of the project management lifecycle
• An ability to analyse, interpret and display data, so it can be effectively presented
• Have some knowledge or experience of commercial and contract management and financial processes.
