We are recruiting for a permanent Advisor, this post, will undertake business critical work associated with the Carriers, Brokers and Dealers (CBD) Regulatory Reform Project (RRP) in addition to contributing to business-as-usual activities associated with providing technical support to our National Customer Contact Centre (NCCC).

You will:
• Be the technical support contact for issues relating to NCCC and support this critical team during the RRP.
• Assist on external comms related to the RRP
• Lead on delivery of a national external campaign to raise awareness of Duty of Care
• Assist in delivery of other workstreams related to the RRP where needed.
This post sits within the Waste Classification and Tracking (WCAT) team, within Waste Industry Regulatory Services (WIRS), in National Operations. The WCAT team is a dispersed team working across the country. We are a high performing team that delivers priority technical work, supporting waste regimes, providing leadership to national projects.


The CBD regime is managed through E&B Waste Regulation and WIRS. Together we lead the business on CBD work, supporting Government, industry and colleagues.
An understanding of waste compliance, environmental regulation of the waste industry and our enforcement processes.

Effective at influencing, persuading and communicating, you’ll have a strong customer and partner focus. Delivering results through others from across the business and partners.

Technical leadership and delivery are essential along with:
• working independently, organising yourself and your workload
• ‘owning’ your role; initiating tasks, setting high work standards and delivering
• planning, managing and delivering complex tasks to deadlines
• building/maintaining effective relationships
Being comfortable with dispersed working
Office base is flexible. You will need to be comfortable with working in a dispersed team. The role will require travel to London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol and other locations.
