In E&B, we have secured significant funding to deliver a new set of online services and digital platforms that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates. Working with 3rd party providers and internal technology teams, we are recruiting for a number of exciting roles to help drive this change and implement technologies that will underpin the future of regulation. Working across the programme work-streams, in particular with Digital Project Managers and the Programme Communications and Training lead, this role will be crucial to ensure that we engage the wide range of stakeholders in the change that we will be delivering. You will be:
• Working across the programme to ensure operational teams are ready and engaged in change.
• Providing join-up between programme work-streams and operational teams to ensure digital services and platforms meet the needs of their users.
• Developing and implementing a consistent approach for benefits realisation and tracking across the programme and for each work-stream.
• Working closely with the Programme Communications and Training Lead in the design, development and delivery of communications and training.
• Engaging with assurance reviews and lead action on recommendations, as well as organising assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required.
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team are responsible for the Digital Strategy and its implementation across E&B. Our work sets the strategic direction for the delivery of digital services that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates.

You will work in a wider multidisciplinary team, alongside Defra shared services and 3rd Party suppliers, to shape delivery of user centred online services and digital platforms so that they are more efficient, simpler, and faster to use.
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for change and understands how technology can benefit our teams and transform how we regulate. It is important that you are able to work collaboratively as a part of a team, possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, enjoy working in ambiguity and a desire to challenge the status-quo.
The right person will have a background in Change Management, ideally with experience of:
•Leading change in a transformation programme.
•Using innovative ways to bring people and teams on the change journey.
•Leading workshops and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Delivering technology based project solutions or projects, or working in a project environment.
•Implementing benefit realisation approaches and tools.
