"In E&B, we have secured significant funding to deliver a new set of online services and digital platforms that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates. Working with 3rd party providers and internal technology teams, we are recruiting for a number of exciting roles to drive this change and implement technologies that will underpin the future of regulation.
This role will lead a programme workstream, ensuring that there is effective and quality planning, financial, delivery management and communications in place. It will include overseeing project delivery across internal Digital and IT partners and external build partners.
You will be:
• responsible for the delivery, ongoing management and continuous improvement of new online services/platforms.
• Managing work-stream specific plans, finances and resourcing needs.
• Ensuring effective Change Management, Communications and Training are in place.
• Ensuring alignment to the programme Business Case and benefit realisation plans and tracking is in place.
• Ensuring governance and assurance processes are adhered to, such as leading on project boards and completing progress reports.
• Delivering digital capability that meets user needs, as well as aligning to the wider programme strategy.
• Identifying, and managing project risks and issues, developing mitigating actions and escalating appropriately."

We are looking for an individual with an appetite to make a difference to lead on delivering the future online services and digital platforms that will transform how we regulate. It is important that you can work effectively as a part of a team, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, a desire to challenge the status-quo and a strong background in leading teams to a common purpose.
The right person will have a demonstrable passion for management and delivery of change based projects, preferably in a technology based environment, with experience of:
•Delivering projects as a part of a wider programme.
•Working across different shared service functions and suppliers.
•Managing project finances and resources.
•Managing 3rd party suppliers and undertaking procurement activities.
•Overseeing project governance activities.
•Engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in to projects.
•Developing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
