In E&B, we have secured significant funding to deliver a new set of online services and digital platforms that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates. Working with 3rd party providers and internal technology teams, we are currently recruiting for a number of exciting roles to help drive this change and implement technologies that will underpin the future of regulation. Working across the programme work-streams, and with Digital Project Managers and the Programme Business Change Manager, this role will be crucial in developing an effective engagement and training strategy for the programme.

You will be:
• Developing and implementing the programme engagement and training strategy.
• Working across the programme to ensure stakeholders and the EA communities are engaged in digital.
• Developing and implementing a consistent approach for communications and training across the programme and for each work-stream.
• Establishing and managing a variety of communication channels to engage internal and external audiences.
• Working closely with the Business Change Manager in the design, development, and management of communication assets to ensure smooth delivery.
• Engaging with 3rd party suppliers to help develop and implement programme communications and training materials.
• Translating complex information into simplified messaging and materials.
"The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team are responsible for the Digital Strategy and its implementation across E&B. Our work sets the strategic direction for the delivery of digital services that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates.

You will work in a wider multidisciplinary team, alongside Defra shared services and 3rd Party suppliers, to shape delivery of user centred online services and digital platforms so that they are more efficient, simpler, and faster to use."
"We are looking for an individual who has a passion for communications and training, as well as understanding how technology can benefit our teams and transform how we regulate. It is crucial in this role that you are able to simplify complex and technical messaging to ensure buy-in, as well as making sure that this is conveyed in training materials. It is important that you are able to work collaboratively as a part of a team, possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, enjoy working in ambiguity and a desire to challenge the status-quo.

The right person will have a demonstrable passion for quality communications, engagement and training, ideally with experience of:
•Leading on programme or project-level communications and training.
•Developing an effective communications and training strategy and plan.
•Establishing and managing internal communications channels.
•Experience of communicating, engaging and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders
