We are currently recruiting for 3 posts in project support assistants – one in online services and digital regulation and two in our Future Funding department.

We have secured significant funding to deliver a new set of online services and digital platforms that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates and implement technologies that will underpin the future of regulation. This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of our new digital services and platforms.

Future Funding works across the Environment Agency to ensure we are able to maximise investment and income to deliver our environmental outcomes and regulate effectively.

You will be:
-Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to support the needs of the workstream leads across programmes of work.
-Supporting finance tracking and raising and monitoring purchase orders, including receiving goods and invoices.
-Arranging internal and external meetings, both face to face and via MS teams.
-Preparing upcoming meetings, for example collating information to produce agendas and papers to circulate for internal/external meetings.
-Supporting conversations with workstream leads to ensure delivery is on track and risks & issues are monitored.
-Providing admin support across the programme to all the different workstreams.
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team are responsible for the Digital Strategy and its implementation across E&B. Our work sets the strategic direction for the delivery of digital services that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates. Future Funding works to maximise income and investment in the environment and to ensure we are delivering value for money across all our activities.
We are looking for an individual with an appetite to make a difference to support the team on designing the future digital experiences for our users. It is important that you are able to work effectively as a part of a team, as well as having a ‘can-do’ attitude and a desire to challenge the status-quo.

The right person will have outstanding administrative skills, with experience of:

-Partnership working with Defra shared services and 3rd party suppliers.
-Developing internal and external stakeholder relationships
-Using excellent organisational and communication skills.
-Working flexibly and managing own workloads to meet deadlines.
