Our Industrial Placements run for 54 weeks starting in July 2020. Giving you plenty of time to gain valuable experience whilst complementing your studies and personal and professional growth.
During your Business and Communication placement with us you will gain experience in areas such as:
- Business Planning and programme management
- How we work with government
- External relations
- Communication with internal and external customers including ministers and the board

The Environment Agency operate across England divided into 14 areas and National teams.
We have opportunities across the country in both local and national teams.
You will work with and learn from experienced members of your appointed team who will coach and mentor you throughout the year to support you to reach your potential.
We are looking for applicants who are studying or recently studied a business and communications related degree.
You will have completed a minimum of two years of your degree course but will not have graduated before summer 2018.
We are looking for applicants with some of the following skills:
- Communication
- Team working
- Customer service
- Problem-solving
