We are looking for Senior Commercial Officers to join the Procurement team to provide commercial advice and lead the contracting activity for the delivery of high profile projects.

High quality strategic commercial advice, together with the management of relationships with both key clients and suppliers, is essential to deliver efficient and sustainable contracts to help us be the best we can.
The Commercial team is a geographically dispersed team who focus primarily on high value/high risk projects to deliver value for money and reduce both commercial and sustainability risks.

This team works closely together to share best practice and has a keen interest in continuously developing the skills and capabilities of the staff within it.
You'll preferably be Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) qualified or nearing completion, or equivalent.

You'll have experience of dealing with and influencing customers and partners, meeting their needs and expectations and solving problems that may arise.

You'll demonstrate experience of working within a team, managing conflicting demands on time due to working to tight timescales, and will have a track record of setting high standards and delivering results, together with the ability to lead negotiations with supply partners.
