To ensure the UK complies with targets we:

• Register producer and compliance scheme obligations
• Permit operators to issue evidence of recovery/recycling
• Risk profile compliance monitoring
• Investigate, pursue, prosecute offenders through either criminal or enforcement undertakings/civil sanctions
We need individuals able to demonstrate the following;

• Excellent customer skills, written and verbal
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Ability to support the collection, assessment, reporting and saving of complex data in line with internal guidelines
• Competent use of Microsoft Office and Excel are essential
• Excellent time management, and interpersonal skills
• Working co-operatively as part of a team to achieve common goals
• Organisation and planning skills to deliver multiple work activities with varying deadlines
• Experience of working with customers to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements is desirable but not essential
We are committed to making our organisation as diverse as the environment and believe working at the Environment Agency should be life-enhancing. A flexitime scheme is available. The location for this role is Sheffield, however, occasional national travel will be required.

All applications and interviews are competency based assessments, therefore, candidates may benefit from researching competency based recruitment.
