We are seeking a confident Personal Assistant to provide a first class service to the Deputy Director of National Field Operations. This is a high profile role, in which you’ll need to take a proactive approach, thinking ahead and acting on your own initiative. With good communication and customer service skills, you will act as the main point of contact for internal and external customers when the Director is out of the office and you will be comfortable building strong working relationships with others in senior management roles.
You will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service across a range of duties. This will include travel and diary coordination; email and action management; secretariat support for meetings, taking minutes and actions. You will also provide support to other senior leadership roles.
National Field Operations is a team of around 20 staff. We make the link between the organisation’s strategic ambition and how our 1,100 strong field workforce carry out their asset maintenance and incident response activity. We drive continuous improvement across our Area Operations teams and external suppliers, providing advice, guidance, tools, skills and technical expertise.

• Able to calmly progress a number of issues at once with excellent attention to detail.

• Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• A resilient self-starter who uses their initiative and works effectively and efficiently on their own, able to flex to last minute changes.

• Efficient meeting organisation

• Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office and other software/ IT systems
