We are looking for a Thames Estuary 2100 Advisor to assist the Senior Advisor in the ongoing development of the Thames Estuary 2100 implementation plan and monitoring programme. This role can be adapted to suit a range of skill sets and could suit those with scientific / analytical skills through to those with broader experience within sustainable places or FCRM. The Adviser will support the Senior Adviser as custodian of the Thames Estuary 2100 Plan and ensure that the recommendations of the Plan are successfully delivered by our internal teams as well as external partners. The role will also involve preparing the data and evidence required to facilitate a comprehensive review of the TE2100 Plan in 2020.
The London Area plays an essential role in enhancing and sustaining our capital. We seek and act on new opportunities to engage with others, fostering working relationships with key London organisations and our Area and National Office teams. You’ll work closely with a range of area and national teams across FCRM, EPE and Evidence to oversee a programme of works to ensure successful delivery of the Thames Estuary 2100 Plan.
Translating organisational strategy into approaches for operational delivery
Working productively with internal and external partners/stakeholders to help deliver the outcomes of both a specific function/project and the wider organisation.
Delivering work within a programme and project management framework to time, cost and quality
Embracing and adapting to change/new ways of working to improve efficiency & productivity, having contributed positively in any preceding discussion

Analysing/interpreting evidence to contribute effective solutions for technical problems.

The role is based at our London office in Westminster which is currently Ergon House but will be moving nearby to Marsham St in the summer and attracts a central London weighting allowance. For this assignment we will consider alternative bases but this will require frequent travel to London and other offices in the South East for meetings.
