This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who would like to work as part of a national team and to directly contribute to measuring the performance of our fleet.
Your role will be to ensure the delivery of high quality data and information to leadership teams and colleagues to help the organisation improve its fleet performance. The data and information you provide will enable us to ensure we reduce our environmental footprint, maintain a cost effective fleet, to support our legal and health & safety responsibilities. You will be key in helping us achieving our aim of providing the right information, at the right time to the right people so that they can lead and deliver by making informed decisions. You will also participate in local projects to improve ways of working and support business change and efficiency improvements.

As part of the national Assurance and Reporting team, you will be expected to work with colleagues across the organisation and with external Customers, so the ability to build and maintain a working network of contacts is essential and requires excellent communication and influencing skills.
Defra Group Fleet Services now provides a collaborative fleet service to all organisations within the Defra group. The Assurance and Reporting team are specifically deliver the development and production of fleet analysis, the management of fleet systems and data, in addition this includes fleet risk, Telematics and making best use of resources.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, and has good data management experience. This would be a great opportunity for anyone wishing to utilise and develop their data and analysis skills.

You should:

• be able to use technology to make your work more efficient
• deliver your work with a focus on quality and attention to detail
• have evidence of customer focus and good organising skills.

You will be expected to support our data management processes and work alongside our suppliers to improve upon quality and process. You will initiate and maintain good customer relationships with internal colleagues as well as customers in external organisations.
The location is flexible, but one of the Fleet National Hubs would be preferred. You'll be comfortable working as part of a dispersed and remote working and management. Some travel will be required, including occasional overnight stays.
