If you want to be at the heart of our work to address the big environmental challenges in Yorkshire then join us in the role of Executive Coordination Manager (ECM). You will be exceptionally well organised, enjoy a varied and changing environment and have excellent communication and influencing skills, enabling you to work effectively with our Area Leadership Team(ALT) .
You will have the opportunity to deliver our strategic priorities across 3 work-streams:
• Business
- Provide assurance around delivery, workforce planning and finance
- Drive Health, Safety & Wellbeing initiatives
• Coordinate activities around Sustainable Business
• People
- Coordinate, drive and help develop our Area People Strategy, working with our Business Partners/Networks on key Wellbeing, Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Leadership Development Programme
• Lead on and coordinate Area recruitment and workforce planning strategies
• Engagement
- Work with ALT and the Area Director to deliver Area wide engagement strategy, including internal/external communications and coordination of VIP visits
- Coordinate employee engagement group activities around business change, staff survey actions and local/national staff initiatives
Personal strengths/preferences will be taken into consideration, however; flexibility across work-streams will be required.
Reporting into the Environment, Planning and Engagement Business Manager, with the primary focus of supporting the ALT strategic priorities. There will be some line management responsibility.

The team is responsible for planning and coordinating area-wide activities and events, working across the whole Area. Leading on activities related to assurance, compliance, risk, business performance, people groups, health and safety, workforce planning, learning and development, business change, internal and external engagement, Area Director Communications and forward planning.
This role requires someone with exceptional organisational skills, who can manage and prioritise workloads, encourage commitment and buy-in to promote action and deliver results.
