As a Resilience Manager you will lead a team of up to 6 Incident Management Business Partners (IMBP) in the Resilience and Partnerships Team. The IMBPs and your team will provide consistent products and incident management advice across Area Operations. You will provide proactive leadership and develop your team, and the individuals within it. You will shape, develop and provide expert advice and knowledge on complex and strategic issues and projects to inform and deliver incident management outcomes. You will lead and influence incident management priorities both internally and externally to secure positive outcomes for people and the environment. In addition you will help develop and contribute to the Resilience and Partnerships Team internal Incident Management and external partnerships engagement activities.
You will lead one of three Resilience teams, which have IMBPs based across the country and are part of Resilience and Partnerships Team, in Incident Management and Resilience. The Resilience and Partnerships Team delivers IM Engagement, IM planning and the IMBP service.
You will have a good knowledge of multi-agency incident management. You will have significant line management experience, preferably leading a dispersed team. Confident and articulate with a variety of audiences, you will have a proven ability in working with others and a clear customer and business focus. Very strong verbal and written communication skills are required and you will be able to demonstrate how you have influenced successful outcomes. You must be able to design and deliver a varied prioritised workload, lead a team and be an effective member of the Resilience and Partnerships Management Team.
