If so, we can help.
The stark threat of plastic accumulating in our land, rivers and oceans is possibly one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time. In response to this, we are establishing a new Plastics and Sustainability Team which will reduce, recover and remove plastic that could or has entered our environment.
We are looking for someone who can lead this team, work in a high-freedom environment and makes their people happier, focuses on wellbeing, health, and safety, embraces emergent leadership, and supports personal development.

A new team of 6 highly talented people lead by a Programme Manager, 2 Project Managers and 2 Project Officers working to support communities and businesses reduce, recover and remove plastic in the environment. The team will be part of our Environmental Monitoring Assessment and Analyses Team based in Devon Cornwall and the IoS and will report to the Area Environment Manager (Environmental Monitoring).
This is an exciting and challenging role where you will have to meet and influence a wide variety of leaders and politicians to drive down plastic waste and reduce environmental damage. You will need to deliver results through others from across our organisation and through external groups. You will be effective at influencing and persuading, be a capable communicator and have a strong customer and partner focus. We are looking for someone who is politically aware and is a confident decision maker.
