You will provide vital secretarial and administrative support to our Area Director and Leadership Team. Your excellent organisational skills will be critical to the smooth running of our organisation and will enable us to meet our vision to 'create a better place for people and wildlife'. You will be a true team player, working closely with other secretaries.

Your responsibilities will include; carrying out a range of secretarial duties including email and diary management, organising meetings, and travel arrangements. Acting as an initial point of contact you will share and filter information for the leadership team so that priorities are met.

You will manage a confidential support service for the Area Director ensuring they are aware of all key items to maximise the effectiveness of their time. By co-ordinating responses to correspondence you will support our compliance with policies and procedures across the Environment Agency
You will be an essential part of our Customers & Engagement team. We help protect our reputation and ensure we give clear and consistent messages. Your work will focus primarily on colleagues (internal customers), but we passionately believe the same values and ethos apply to everyone.
The successful candidates are likely to have a recognised professional secretarial qualification and experience in a similar role. We are seeking people with following skills:
