A vacancy has arisen in the HR Transformation team to work with colleagues and third party suppliers to embed and review transactional HR processes following the introduction the a global Standard Operating Platform (SOP) used to deliver transactional HR services. Primarily you will work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure the HR requirements are correctly defined and aligned to business need. You will use your skills and knowledge of transactional HR services and HR IT systems to support change requests, specify required business outcomes for processes and collaborate on areas of continuous improvement - including agreeing value sets with other organisations that also use SOP, training, testing. Additionally you will be required to work with HR colleagues to support the continued review of HR policies, processes and any associated guidance.
The team support HR in delivering a service to our business and collaborate with colleagues in HR, Service Management and Commercial teams and liaise with third party suppliers such as SSCL to confirm service requirements. Roles and activities in the team are varied but focus on HR systems, policy and process.
It's essential that you:

have experience of managing changes to HR processes and/or HR support systems;
are able to demonstrate a broad understanding and working knowledge of HR processes and systems;
are skilled at reviewing customer requests and identifying outputs, opportunities, impacts and risks - influencing customers and confirming/negotiating requirements where necessary.

You must be able to achieve results through robust prioritisation, often dealing with conflicting, and/or tight deadlines.

Previous experience of system implementation is desirable, as is knowledge of Environment Agency policies and systems but it's not essential.

CIPD and continuous improvement qualifications are desirable, but not essential.

Whilst this position is based at Lateral, Leeds, there may be some travel required to other offices/locations - requests to be based at other Environment Agency locations such as Horizon House, Bristol, or Richard Fairclough House, Warrington, will be considered.

Working patterns are Monday - Friday, 7.4 hours a day (37 hours a week).
