You'll have what it takes to work in a team to complete our routine work programme and respond to incidents and emergencies as a rostered member of the team. We act quickly when floods occur, so you'll take part in an emergency call out rota. You will be required to provide an emergency response service. We work across the country, when called upon, to assist other areas in incident response.
You should demonstrate a positive and adaptable approach and a 'can do' attitude as a worthy team player. Good organisational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure during incidents are essential. You must understand site health and safety requirements and you'll need good communication skills to work.
