Are you looking for that first step into an administration role or want to change career?

If so we can offer you the chance to become a valuable part of our Management Administrative team providing comprehensive support to the Kent, South London and East Sussex Area Leadership team.

During this apprenticeship you’ll study for a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration and learn how to:

• Provide accurate and timely support for members of the area leadership team
• Maintain good customer focus and ensures effective relationship building and partnership working to support the organisation achieve its operational objectives.
• Use standard IT packages efficiently to deliver work and learn specialised systems as required.
• Operate and maintains data and information systems effectively
• Ensure records are stored accurately, are up to date and maintains the appropriate level of confidentiality when dealing with data relating to people.

You’ll be working with experienced Administrators and be part of a wider apprentice community made up of individuals with different talents and abilities and of all ages and backgrounds.

Background and experience are not as important as your energy, enthusiasm and commitment, as the apprenticeship will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be fully competent in this role.

However, to perform successfully in both this role and in the apprenticeship you must have:
• Excellent attention to detail and be able to produce accurate work.
• Good interpersonal, team working and communication skills.
• Good organisational and planning skills and ability to work to deadlines under pressure
• Maths and English at GCSE Grades A – C/4 – 9 (or equivalent).

If you are yet to take GCSEs but expect to achieve these grades in the summer, you may still apply.

This is a permanent role starting between summer and September 2020 and you will typically complete the apprenticeship in the first 18 months – 24 months of your employment.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, your salary will increase from £17,000 - £18,889pa

Please Note: This role and apprenticeship are targeted towards people aged 16 – 24 but there is no upper age limit. Anyone who meets the criteria and would benefit from the apprenticeship can apply.
