The National Enforcement Service is looking for an individual to offer admin support to their team in Solihull, relocating to Central Birmingham in mid 2020.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and confident person to support two managers and their dispersed teams. We are looking for someone who has great communication and organisational skills, giving our teams the support they need and efficiently and accurately handling sensitive information.

Your duties will involve diary management, organising and minuting meetings, organising travel, action log management, preparing documents and handling requests and enquiries.

We are a busy team so you will need to be able to adapt to changing demands when prioritising your work. You will liaise with a wide range of people across the Environment Agency, so it is important that you are positive, enjoy helping colleagues, promote collaboration and take pride in your work.
The National Enforcement Service (NES) is a team of around 150 people. We are dispersed across the country. We develop criminal intelligence to help us prevent, disrupt and take enforcement action against serious environmental criminals in England. We are an enthusiastic and innovative team who are constantly evolving. We are passionate about our people and work together to make NES a great place to work.
You will be a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail. You will be comfortable with prioritising your own workload and able to make effective use of your time. You will not be sat with your managers every day so you will need to be a self-starter and confident to take ownership of your own workload.

You will have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to interact in a confident and helpful manner. An ability to build relationships and liaise effectively with others is also a key requirement of this role.

The role involves data processing and evaluation, so familiarity with Microsoft Excel is desirable, as well as other Microsoft Office programmes. You should be confident at learning and navigating a wide range of systems. You will also be responsible for managing sensitive information, so confidentiality and a discreet nature is of high importance.
Please contact Bonnie Butler if you would like to discuss the role in more detail. Tel: 07879486084 email: bonnie.butler@environment-agency.gov.uk
