Behavioural Based Assessment

On submission of your application, you will receive a link to complete an assessment via a company called Artic Shores. Information on your next steps will be included in the email. The Environment Agency operates across England divided into 14 areas and National teams. We have opportunities across both local and national teams.

You’ll be involved in the delivery of exciting projects and a varied range of work, all of which will enhance your skills and knowledge. You will learn about our organisation, gaining insight to develop ideas for a future career.
You will be someone with a genuine interest in the environment and be passionate about creating a better place for people and wildlife. You will be flexible in your approach and have determination to make positive change happen.

We are looking for applicants with a variety of skills and behaviours, and the willingness to develop within new areas.

We will ask about your preferences in the application form, and we will contact you to find out more about your interests and align these to the roles we have to offer.
To be eligible for this Internship you will need to meet ALL the following criteria:

Criteria 1

-You are a UK, Commonwealth or EEA (European Economic Area) national

-You have the right to work in the UK



Criteria 2

-You will have completed a minimum of two years of your degree in any subject*°

OR

-You have graduated from an undergraduate degree or master's degree programme in any subject*° within the last 12 months (from June 2023)

*If successful, you will be required to give evidence of your qualification (expected or awarded).

°We are particularly keen to hear from you if you studied within a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
