We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join the Integrated Environment Planning team based in Brampton. We are responsible for water resources management in the East Anglian region. You will process water resource licence applications and provide technical administration support to others in the team.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in other aspects of the team's work such as water quality and catchment planning. We work in a multifunctional way across water quality and resources, bridging all functions ensuring that we will identify solutions to the key environmental issues faced across East Anglia.

Our work helps to ensure that delivery on the ground, whether EA or partners, is as effective and efficient as it can be and provides as much for the environment as possible for every pound spent.
You will join the Brampton Integrated Environment Planning Team. We cover a wide range of disciplines including water quality, water resources and river basin planning. The team collates, analyses and shares data to produce engaging and compelling environmental evidence that informs and drives area priorities and environmental improvements. The team is made up of Planning Specialists and Officers. Planning Officers are multi-functional working on all types of data and evidence and identifying relationships between them.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of our business and environmental activities, complementing strong IT skills. Experience of using the Catchment Planning System (CPS), GIS and planning tools is desirable but not essential.

You should be a team worker, self-motivated and able to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers in different situations.
