• Work with partners to support sustainable development;
• Work with partners to develop projects to manage future flood and coastal erosion risk.

• Understand flood and coastal risk management, particularly hydrology and hydraulics to interpret and review hydraulic models and flood risk assessments for future development;
• Maintain and use our information technology to apply the data, mapping, modelling and information that forms our evidence base for flood risk management;
• Be a self-motivated team-worker who can use their initiative to quickly adapt to work demands and pressures in response to flooding.
• Be an excellent communicator, who can adapt your style to help influence our varied range of partners and customers - our outcomes rely on relationships with others.
• Share our passion to deliver better protection to our communities from river and sea flooding and coastal erosion - creating a cleaner healthier environment which benefits people and the economy.
