As a Senior HR Business partner to leadership teams across National Operations you will partner senior leaders to build capacity, capability and commitment of their people through a team of dispersed HR Business Partners. The aim to enable high performance, engagement and effective delivery of business outcomes.

Working in partnership with the business you will be experienced at diagnosing people requirements and providing solutions that enables continuous improvement in a changing environment.

As a leader and HR professional you will have a proven track record in delivering an effective HR Business partnering ‘service’ to a wide range of customers across a wide range of disciplines including management of change; resourcing; leadership development; talent and succession and effective employee relations.

This is a 12 month maternity cover to support National Operations Flood and Coastal Risk Management. It is a great time to be working in partnership with this team in Operations as it drives new and exciting approaches to the ways of working within the organisation.
As a member of HR Operations you will be one of 5 Senior HR Business Partners supporting Operational teams across the country. You will be responsible for leading a dispersed team of HR business partners who are customer focused and aligned to delivering business solutions. You will be an essential part of National Operations leadership team, working closely with the Director of Operations and senior leadership team as a critical friend, advisor and HR professional.
Proven experience of strategic HR Business Partnering in an operational environment and an ability to influence at senior management level within a complex /matrix organisation.

Able to demonstrate how you have engaged with the business in areas including Leading and managing change, Employee Engagement, workforce planning and developing organisational capability
Accomplished HR professional delivering results in a complex and demanding environment.

Proven employee relations experience and good knowledge and application of employment law.

Proven experience of managing and leading teams
Some national travel and overnight stays will be required
