2 Permanent and 5 x 2 year fixed term roles in the Producer Responsibility Regulatory Service (PRRS): the team deliver regulatory activities under the Batteries, Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Packaging regimes and carry out compliance and enforcement activities in relation to Producer Responsibility.
The Waste Regimes Operational Services (WROS) department was established in April 2019 following a restructure of our frontline delivery of non-site based waste regimes. It consists of experienced and knowledgeable Regulatory Officers/Senior Technical Officers in Pan Area Teams and National regime teams.
We need individuals to demonstrate the following:
• excellent customer service skills, both internal and external;
• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to embrace new tools and apps to encourage virtual communication;
• flexible and adaptable to change;
• ability to support the collection, assessment, reporting and saving of complex data in line with internal guidelines;
• competent use of Microsoft Office and Excel are essential;
• excellent time management, and interpersonal skills;
• working co-operatively as part of a team to achieve common goals;
• organisation and planning skills to deliver multiple work activities with varying deadlines;
Office base is flexible and flexitime scheme is available. You will need to be comfortable with working in a dispersed team. Some national travel and overnight stays may be required.
