This is your opportunity to contribute to the delivery of our vision by providing administration support to the Business and Improvements team. You will be involved in work across various areas key to the success of the environment agency’s enforcement across the country including
Enforcement Governance
Delivery of technical products and support, specialist enforcement panels, Operational guidance documents.
Administration support for projects including continuous improvement and IT infrastructure.
Administration and support for the Business & Improvements Leadership Team.

As such your role will be wide-ranging and you must be able to switch between varying tasks with a positive outlook and a smile on your face! The Business and Improvements team is part the National Enforcement Service in Operations Regulation Monitoring Customer. We provide a number of services and support functions to the enforcement community including enforcement skills, training and development, provision and analysis of enforcement data, national governance, civil sanctions and the delivery of Operational Instructions. The team plays a pivotal role across a number of the enforcement leadership networks and groups.
• Some previous experience as an administrator or in project support would be desirable.
• Ability to pick up new IT systems quickly and be competent in using IT services such as Microsoft office programmes (for example Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
• Ability to prioritise differing demands and hit deadlines while not compromising on quality of work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Pro-active in your approach and confident in using your initiative.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working unsupervised.
This a national role within a dispersed team and may require some very limited travel.
Work will be based form any EA Office although there is currently some home working involved.
