If so, we’re looking for 1 Officers with the right mix of enthusiasm and technical skills to join our Water Resources teams in Operations Catchments Services. The position will be within the Water Resources (Which, do we need to put 1 of the teams down.) team which will involve work, across the following areas: water resources planning, regional planning, and annual reviews on Water Companies. The role will involve working with other National teams across Operations and Environment and Business as well as Area teams and external parties including water companies. The role will require some travel and occasional overnight stays to attend internal and external meetings.
Water Resources & Operations Catchment Services Department influence and ensure the right invest is made by water companies to protect and enhance the immediate and longer term future Environment needs. Our impact on the environment can be measured in £billions and you will play your part along with Water Quality, Evidence Delivery, Account Managers, and Environment Programme teams. We are seeking an individual with a desire to work within the area of Water Resources, ideally you will have some understanding of water resources planning, strong data handling and analysis skills and an interest in applying your knowledge to impact on the safety and sustainability of our water supply.

The following experience and knowledge would be desirable:
- Water resource planning experience.
- Effective working with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Good data analysis skills.
- Additional skills in a related technical discipline would be an advantage, for example: WR modelling, hydrology, licensing, supply and demand forecasting.
