We are looking for a dedicated individual to work in our regulatory team in the West Midlands, delivering compliance on hazardous waste
and waste classification. Our industrial sectors can produce, handle, and receive large volumes of hazardous waste and it is important
that these wastes are classified and described correctly. Misdescription of these wastes can result in a wide range of environmental

You will be recognised as the Hazardous Waste Technical Lead, oversee hazardous waste regulatory delivery for the team, contribute to
the development and delivery of the hazardous waste regime delivery plan and report on performance. You will focus your time on
hazardous waste and waste classification compliance activities - centered around operations under the Environmental Permitting
Regulations such as chemical manufacture, incineration, metals, paper and textiles, and refineries. You will review waste classification
assessments in accordance with Guidance on the classification and assessment of waste to ensure waste produced and received by
operators is correctly classified.

The candidate pack and role description should be read along with this advert to understand the key accountabilities and skills needed.
