As a Field Team Leader you’ll be responsible for the delivery of a fast paced programme of maintenance works for our rivers and flood risk management structures in the Boston area of Lincolnshire. This work is essential for protecting people, property and wildlife. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of important engineering projects delivering through your team of skilled operatives and working closely with contractors. You’ll also be working with external partners, and landowners as well as with internal teams to plan the future maintenance needs for the catchment.
Joining our Boston Field team, you'll lead a skilled team who genuinely care about the rivers and catchment that they maintain and are passionate about our role to protect people, property and wildlife. You’ll also be a member of the Operations Leadership team, working closely with our Asset Performance team and supply chain to deliver an effective asset management service.
You’re a strong leader with experience of managing skilled teams, a proven track record of delivering projects and programmes. You motivate, inspire and lead. You’ll have exceptional communication and networking skills, and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience in the delivery of flood risk management or civil engineering projects/ programmes
• Experience of working with partners, communities and landowners, to deliver an excellent customer service

Driving licence required
