We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team, primarily to review our site information data to ensure it remains up to date and fit for purpose. Whilst being a short term appointment the role will allow insight and understanding of the work of the team in the broader sense and would benefit career aspirations in this field.
The Hydrometry & Telemetry team collect rainfall and water (level and flow) data from a network of fixed and non-fixed locations across Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. Additionally upwards of 400 sites have telemetry installed, bringing data back continually. We visit sites routinely to ensure correct operation, and quality check data for use. We are a relatively small and dispersed team, operating out of a number of offices across the area.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate aptitude at data manipulation, and be comfortable working on their own initiative
and with minimal supervision for much of the time. Therefore, good communication and team-working skills will be essential.
Whilst not essential, a full driving licence would be useful.
