We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who can make a real difference to our Area Leadership team. If you are looking for a new challenge; are a team player; are super organised and are committed to providing timely and accurate administrative support to your managers, then this role could be for you.
As a key member of our Executive office support, you will work closely with the other area secretaries and the PA, to support our managers and their teams to deliver a wide variety of activities. You will also work closely with the national community of practice and your Team Leader to embed new ways of working in our area, which will improve the timeliness and overall quality of the service we provide to our managers and teams.
Your excellent organisational skills will be critical to the smooth running of our Area and will enable us to meet our objectives to improve the environment.
Acting as an initial point of contact for senior managers, internal and external customers, you will share and filter information for the team so that priorities are met. You will also organise, attend and capture actions in meetings.
You'll be part of the Customers and Engagement team which is a fast paced team who work internally and externally to manage and support our Area’s visibility, reputation, customer service and community engagement. The successful candidate will report to the Customer and Engagement Team Leader and on a day to day basis will provide administrative support to the Area Leadership team.
You must be confident talking to customers and colleagues, on the phone and face to face and you should enjoy the challenge of working in a busy team with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
You should be competent using all Microsoft packages e.g. : Excel, Word, PowerPoint and be comfortable working with staff at all levels
You need to be a professional, highly organised team player with strong self management skills, and have the ability to prioritise and deliver work to tight deadlines.
The successful candidate is likely to have a recognised professional secretarial qualification and will have experience in a similar role.

This is a permanent role with location based at the Trentside Offices in Nottingham. Occasional travel may be required.
