We are looking for a Project Manager with experience of renewables to fill this post. You will be responsible for leading a range of feasibility studies that are intended to examine the options available to Water Resources and Flood and Coastal Risk Management for the installation of solar, wind and hydropower at sites in Yorkshire Area and, from those studies, design, cost and implement solutions.
The work will enable Yorkshire Area to better use its ample estate to produce its own green energy and to make a significant contribution to its target of being Net Zero by 2030.

Based in Yorkshire Area, you will report to the Area Monitoring Manager.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 GCSE level passes or equivalent including English, be IT literate and have some experience in the processes for the installation of renewable energy. Key attributes will be self-motivation, decisiveness and the ability to meet deadlines. NEBOSH and CDM qualifications are a requirement for this role.
The role will provide an opportunity to the applicant to develop their planning skills and will involve close liaison with WR and FCRM internal clients and site responsible officers.

The post will be based in Yorkshire and there will be occasional scheduled travel across Yorkshire. As a result, the post requires a full UK driving licence.
