You will provide high quality specialist instruction, risk-based decision making, management, advice and oversight to internal teams and colleagues across the organisation with specific focus on operational and security resilience across the TBAG suite of assets.
The Security Team prepares and maintains management plans and produces operational documents for the TBAG suite of assets, as well as delivering capital works to existing and new systems. The team works jointly with a range of internal and external stakeholders to manage and implement improvements to the TBAG assets to meet security, reliability and performance targets and ensure that threats/risks to staff and assets are minimised.
Ideally you’ll be qualified to degree standard (or equivalent) or have sufficient relevant work experience and be working at an equivalent professional level.

You’ll possess ability and/or knowledge of, and appropriate behaviours to carry out:
• Support health and safety matters by actively promoting the behaviours and culture that ensure a safe and secure working environment;
• Delivering programmes of work including monitoring, maintenance and small civil projects with a focus on consistent quality in delivery;
• Active monitoring of routine maintenance tasks and procedures, including those carried out by sub-contracted companies;
• Facilitate and deliver training programmes;
• High quality, priority and risk based decision making;
• Incident support – locally across the Tidal Teams and UK-wide – and ability to input into and solve complex problems.

The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain suitable security clearance.
