We are looking for a Technical Leader with an excellent understanding of whole life asset management and proven track record in delivering complex programmes of work. You will be expected to use your strong leadership and project management skills to support the team in delivering our asset management programme on time, to budget and to the expected quality standards.
Advise and inform new design projects
You will work closely with our internal Field Teams, external contractors, risk management authorities, and partner regulators/advisors to develop, manage, report and deliver our Revenue intermittent and Rec programme of works as well as overseeing our capital pipeline. You will also work closely with other advisors across the East Midlands to coach and mentor team members and provide support to the Team Leaders on specific portfolios.

Asset Performance North are diverse and dispersed team responsible for the overall performance of our FCRM assets across the East Midlands. We assess, maintain, inspect, and survey our flood risk management assets. We ensure people and property are protected from flooding by taking the right investment decisions based upon robust data and evidence. The team comprises a mix of civil engineers, data and incident leads, routine and intermittent maintenance leads, asset inspectors and technical support.

We're seeking a Technical Leader with extensive knowledge and experience of asset management; programme/project management and health and safety. Other key requirements include excellent communication skills, proficiency in data and information management to make evidence-based decisions, as well as the ability to deliver results through others.
Qualifications and or experience in PRINCE2, NEC4, and Construction Design Management Regulations would be advantageous.
Educated to degree level in civil engineering (or similar field) or be able to demonstrate comparable technical knowledge and experience.
Strong asset management and flood risk management experience, with evidence of commissioning, supporting and delivering successful programme/project delivery through others.

Experience of Government Funding streams and the 5 Case Business Model approach to project appraisal would be beneficial

You'll be expected to travel to field locations across the East Midlands and the post requires a full UK driving license, As an operational role, this post is eligible for a lease car (subject to business case approval) . You'll also be expected to support our incident response activities.
