This role supports the programming, commercial and technical management of our external suppliers and internal teams who deliver our maintenance activities. You will need to build successful working relationships with the Local Delivery Lead, Asset Performance teams, Field Teams, and external suppliers to develop and deliver an optimised programme of activities. You will be required to regularly work from and be visible across our 3 depots at Sale, Leigh, and Winsford.

Your duties will include:
• Reviewing the annual works programme with others to optimise delivery arrangements, whilst ensuring our assets reduce flood risk to the communities they protect.
• Reviewing existing contract arrangements and developing them to ensure they meet our future requirements.
• Work with field team leaders to ensure the most efficient use of our field teams.
• Provide technical leadership to specialist team members to ensure effective delivery from our field teams as they operate, respond and maintain assets.
• Building relationships, internally and externally.
• Assessing the Health and Safety of our suppliers to ensure they deliver work to the high levels we expect.
• Provide monthly reporting on key information that will inform the business of this work.

Knowledge and/or experience of the following are desirable:
• Engineering qualification and/or practical engineering/construction experience;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands;
• Working on collaborative partnership projects.
• A good understanding of appropriate safe working practices including Construction Design and Management (CDM).
• Good budget management skills.

A driving licence is essential.

Full UK driving Licence.
