We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused, self starting individual with excellent influencing and engagement skills. You will help manage the Environment Agency’s interaction with the planning process. Working as part of a team you will engage with customers, local planning authorities and developers to secure environmental outcomes through sustainable planning applications. You will also contribute to more complex consultations. A customer focussed individual who responds/acts on customer feedback to create efficiencies to improve the customer experience. You will support the team to achieve Area Steer priorities, monitor/track KPI's and Integrated Service Level Agreements.
The Sustainable Places team manages the Environment Agency’s input into development management and planning policy, working with local planning authorities and developers. The team consult and liaise with teams in the Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire area. Our area is diverse with NSIPs, and major applications creating exciting opportunities and challenging workloads. There are growth and strategic opportunities with LEP's in our area. You will join a positive, hardworking team who take pride in delivering results.
• Delivering work by planning, tracking, gathering, maintaining, quality-assuring and analysing data/information.

• Working under own initiative and as part of a team to make decisions and achieve planned outcomes.

• Basic understanding of the planning system and relevant legislation.
