We are looking for someone who is passionate about attracting and building the right skills and capabilities of staff in Kent, South London and East Sussex. You will be collaborative, enthusiastic and highly motivated to make a difference.

You will be responsible for the effectiveness of the start to end recruitment process. You'll be working across the Area's departments to own and drive the workforce action plan and develop the overarching workforce strategy to enable us to embrace the workforce challenges of today, tomorrow and the future. You will be working internally and externally, to seek out opportunities to engage with education and business sectors to attract the calibre of applicants required for the diverse skills that the Environment Agency needs.
You'll be reporting to the Business Manager as part of the Area ‘Executive Office’ supporting the Area Director.

You'll direct a Workforce Planning Officer, who will support you by undertaking recruitment administration and logistics. You'll work closely with the Area Leadership Team and Team Leaders alongside the Area Business Partners (HR/Finance/Business Planning).
This role requires someone with great organisational, people and communication skills who can prioritise effectively. You will be a great team player who enjoys working with people from across the Environment Agency and external partners. This will require you to be adaptable and resilient. You will be IT literate
